Previously, Filip was a Partner at Force Over Mass Capital. Prior to that, he worked at JP Morgan and BNP Paribas. Filip studied at the University of Leuven (Belgium) and London Business School.

Outside of work, Filip is an avid sports fan and can often be found cheering from the side of a football pitch, whether it’s Fulham FC or his kids’ youth team.

Wouter is Managing Partner at 6 Degrees Capital.

He looks for disruptive technologies that solve a genuine customer pain. When customers know that they have a problem and recognise that you offer the solution, scaling becomes infinitely easier compared to when you have to educate the customer on the problem or the solution (or both).

Previously, Wouter was a Partner at Force Over Mass Capital. Before that, he managed funds at Morgan Stanley, Janus Henderson and ABN AMRO. Wouter studied at the University of Leuven (Belgium) and London Business School.

Wouter grew up in Belgium and has lived in London for the past 20 years. His wife is South African, so he considers visiting the in-laws the perfect holiday. Together they have a 9-year-old son, who educates him on Web3.

Lucas is a Partner at 6 Degrees Capital.

Prior to 6 Degrees, Lucas was a Principal at Force Over Mass Capital. He also worked in the investment banking division of JP Morgan, where he was part of the Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT) team. Lucas graduated from the University of Antwerp and holds an MBA from INSEAD. While studying, Lucas co-founded Capitant, a leading platform for students interested in financial markets.

Lucas is a foodie who likes to catch up with friends over dinner. He enjoys watching and playing sports, as well as traveling around the world in search of new experiences.

Thibault is a Partner at 6 Degrees Capital.

Previously, Thibault was a Principal at Force Over Mass Capital, spending most of his time looking for new investment opportunities, supporting founders, and studying FinTech trends. His deep interest in technology investing started at university, where his research focused on alternative sources of entrepreneurial finance, including venture capital and crowdfunding.

Thibault studied at the University of Ghent and holds an MBA from the University of Omaha.

After working hours, you often find Thibault running laps around Hyde Park, where he obtained Strava Local Legend status for both the Marble Arch and Embassy Street sections. During holidays, he prefers mountains to beaches.

Bob is a Principal at 6 Degrees Capital. He is looking out for passionate founders who combine operational excellence with a strong vision and focus.

Previously, Bob led the Frankfurt office at Plug and Play, the largest corporate innovation platform in the world, where he also served as one of the four EMEA investment committee members.

Before Plug and Play, he worked at Amazon and Chronext where he was introduced to the startup world. Bob graduated from Erasmus University Rotterdam and also studied at the University of Michigan.

Bob spent his childhood between China, the USA, and Germany. He is excited to explore the streets of London as a new mover. In his free time, he loves playing basketball, socializing with friends, discovering new music, and practicing street photography whenever he travels.

Hilmar is a Senior Associate at 6 Degrees Capital.

Previously, Hilmar worked at Antler, a global early-stage venture firm, focused on Europe and Southeast Asia. He also spent time building out the go-to-market for Glint Solar, a B2B SaaS company focused on the utility-scale solar market.

Hilmar is a fellow at the World Energy Council, an independent think tank, where he follows trends in climate innovation.

Hilmar is originally from Iceland, graduated from London Business School, speaks five languages fluently and has lived in seven different countries.

Hilmar enjoys skiing, climbing or any other adventurous activity.

Kim Jory heads up Client Services at 6 Degrees Capital, with a focus on investor relations, operations, and compliance. Kim has worked in financial services in London for over 10 years, before which she had a varied career spanning South Africa, the Middle East and the UK.

As a South African native, Kim enjoys the outdoors with her fiancé and their rescue cockapoos, and of course, a good old ‘braai’ (which often means denying the onset of winter and continuing to cook one’s food outside in the rain).

Tom runs content and communications for 6 Degrees Capital, covering everything from investor communications to advising startups on their PR and content strategies.

Prior to joining the team, Tom was an award-winning journalist at the Financial Times Group, writing about topics ranging from investment to artificial intelligence.

When not at work, Tom likes to relax by hiking, rock climbing and hoping in vain that Crystal Palace might win something this season.
